Iraqi Customers Visit the SMCC Machine Tool Factory

On June 11, a delegation of clients from Iraq specializing in flange manufacturing visited our CNC machine tool factory. The visit focused on understanding the comprehensive equipment solutions for specialized flange production workshops; the clients showed keen interest in our flagship TCK56D-500 turn-mill compound machine and our automated production lines.

On the workshop floor, the clients closely observed a live demonstration of the TCK56D-500. With its high-rigidity structure, integrated turning and milling capabilities, and exceptional machining precision, this model perfectly meets the production requirements for flange components—specifically the ability to complete multiple machining processes in a single setup. The clients acknowledged the equipment's effectiveness in boosting efficiency and reducing material handling costs, and they inquired in detail about process parameter settings for various flange specifications.

Subsequently, the clients toured our automated production line. The fully unmanned operation—spanning automatic loading, robotic collaborative machining, and finished-part unloading—demonstrated how a "low-manning," continuous operation model can significantly enhance production capacity and stability in a flange workshop. The clients paused frequently to engage in in-depth discussions with our technical staff regarding production line layout, cycle time synchronization, and future scalability.

During the visit, the Iraqi clients highly praised the machining capabilities of the TCK56D-500 and the maturity of our automation solutions; furthermore, they expressed a clear intention to collaborate on establishing a highly efficient, intelligent flange production workshop. Both parties have agreed to proceed with further discussions regarding specific line configurations, installation and commissioning, and localized service support.
